Well – hello – again! It’s been a while!
Today, I am awaiting the birth of my 3rd grandchild and thinking about knitting. Knitting is my nemesis! I just don’t think I will ever have the concentration it takes to follow a knitting pattern. Problem is …. I LOVE it! It’s portable! It’s compact! It feels good in your hand. Now, if someone could just tell me how to follow a “cable” pattern. Maybe… I will feel like a real knitter!
Here’s my latest project… I have conquered washcloths. I have made a dozen or so chemo caps for the MD Anderson Cancer Center hat cart so I decided a baby hat was next. I am good at circular needles but what’s up with knitting with 5 double pointed needles. It took some getting use to!
So, here’s a great blog I found that talks about the 25 knitting tips that will make anyone a better knitter. I totally agree with all 25 however, I think that she missed a very important tip.
YOU NEED GREAT LIGHTING! YES-IT’S IMPORTANT!
Check out her tips and come back and check out our products! We will be at Vogue Knitting Live in Las Vegas on March 24-26, 2017
If you are in the area, come by and visit with us at booth #201 We have Stitch Markers to give away and a brand new Stella 2 to show off!
Enjoy! MJ
I could not make anything without my Stella lamp – it is totally responsible for my success. I could not work with black, navy, even red without Stella. I love that I can choose exactly the right light and amount of light for each project, and do it any time of day or night, bright or cloudy – perfect light is always there waiting to be turned on! I would like a Stella lamp in every room – more than one in the living room. I would like more styles though 🙂
