Welcome Back!

I may not be saying “Welcome Back” to you but maybe more to me.  I have been AWAL this summer with my posts.  That doesn’t mean I wasn’t crafting and creating.  What it means is – I was BUSY!

Here’s what’s been happening!

We will be or have added 3 new members of my family.

Our youngest son, Fred is getting married!  He finally asked “the girl of our dreams” Karly while we were on a family vacation in South Carolina.

She’s a wonderful girl and we love her.  They seem very well matched.  They will be married next June.

Addition #2 belongs to my middle son Jeff.  This pup stole my heart but NO MORE DOGS!

Her name is Rei. (Ray) She could not possibly be cuter.  She’s only 4 months old.

Addition #3 happened out of the blue. … You could have knocked me and hubby over with a feather.

We are going to be Grandparents again!  Son #1 Tim and his wife Amie are expecting #3 in March!  The already have a beautiful family of 2 boys.  I think they are trying to add a girl for me.  What if it’s a girl?  I am craving a grand-daughter!  I really want a grand-daughter!unspecified-201

So, that’s been my crazy summer.  Filled with fun, family, new additions, happy-warm days in the pool, too many sweet treats and friends.  Stella waited for me to be back and now I am ready to head into the fall with great ideas and fun videos.

My sewing room has been neglected.  It’s too hot in Houston, TX to spend a long day upstairs so hand work was my top priority.  I got some great hand appliqué done.  I worked long and hard on a Grandmothers Flower Garden (this will be my next post) and I embroidered.  Thanks to everyone who knitted/crocheted wash cloths for MD Anderson Cancer center.  I have dozens to take to the volunteers.  They are presented to the radiation patients when they are finished.  See post…

Check back with Stella Studio each week for more fun and ideas.  My creativity is overflowing right now.

If you are going to the Houston show or Market look me up.  Rumor has it Nathan will be there.  We will be there with a new product…  TOP SECRET!

Till then…. MJ

  1. A new secret product!? Oh, I do hope it is the ceiling light that I have been craving ever since I saw a prototype at Paramount in Eugene, OR. It gave THE most wonderful light, like the tabletop lamp on STEROIDS! My happy place would feel even happier. If it’s not the ceiling light, then I hope that it’s still being considered as an addition to the line.
