Every pillowcase has a story. Create yours today.
You can help create your own pillowcase stories — stories of hope and comfort for sick kids, homeless families, and people who need to know someone cares. And each story is the result of someone like you, who uses her love of quilting or sewing to send caring messages to people in need.
The American Patchwork & Quilting 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge continues – and they need your help to reach their goal of providing 1,000,000 pillowcases to people who need to know someone cares. The need is great. Our compassion as quilters is greater. So far, more than half a million pillowcases have been recorded on their website. But they’re not done yet!
Pillowcases are a quick and easy project (and a great way to use up your stash). Even if you’ve never sewn before, you can make a pillowcase. The challenge website has free patterns and a how-to video to make it even easier!
Stella Lighting is committed to wonderful charities. Join me in making pillowcases and creating stories. Every pillowcase counts. Every pillowcase is appreciated.

I hope we are still doing this in 2016.
